About the Founder

Hi, I’m Amirah Gilani, the founder of AG Consulting. I completed my degree in Education in Global Contexts, with a minor in Educational Psychology, at McGill University. My work focuses on understanding how students learn within their individual academic and personal contexts.

I have experience supporting students across elementary, secondary, and post secondary levels through tutoring, academic evaluations, and educational consulting. Over time, I have seen that many students struggle not because they lack ability, but because their needs are misunderstood or overlooked.

I founded AG Consulting to provide thoughtful and individualized academic support. I take the time to understand each learner, identify strengths, and address areas of difficulty in a clear and practical way. I work closely with families to offer guidance that is honest, realistic, and supportive of long term growth.

At the core of my work is a belief that every learner deserves to feel understood, capable, and confident in their education.
